A CARE worker has admitted flashing and touching himself in front a disabled woman at a home in Halton.

Leslie Craine committed the offences against a 43-year-old wheelchair user with cerebral palsy and learning difficulties.

The 56-year-old, from Alder Lodge Flats, Winwick Road, Warrington, was caught when the woman told another worker Craine had exposed himself and touched himself.

Craine was interviewed by police and said that because of the height difference the woman's hand would come into contact with his genitals.

He said that she had no knowledge of what she was doing, but he allowed her to 'squeeze' him as she did on 10 to 15 occasions, and on two occasions he had 'moved forward and backwards'.

He admitted his actions were self-centered but said on no occasion did he touch the woman.

The offences were committed in April and Craine was charged by police in July.

He pleaded guilty to engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a mentally disordered person at Runcorn Magistrates 'Court on Tuesday morning.

Craine had been a worker at the home in Halton for 13 years. He had no previous convictions.

The magistrates adjourned sentencing until a hearing at Warrington Crown Court on September 15.
