FEWER accidents have been reported at borough council premises, according to a report to the council board.
The total number of accidents during the past year was 446, of which 73 involved council staff and 373 members of the public.
Some 65 more accidents were reported the previous year.
A council spokesman said: "When considering accidents to members of the public, the policy is to record these no matter how trivial the injury.
"Most injuries to the public are as a result of sporting activities."
