IT'S morning again, another day and what is there to look forward too, a day of moans and frustration?

Who else is there to turn to, I've phoned, spoken and written, but to no avail, just promises given, no sympathy, 'we shall get it done', they say, again.

What, you may ask am I on about?

Hedges and brambles over grown on Prescot Road bridge, the pavement is not our own.

There are nettles and bushes catching your legs and face.

Babies in prams don't have a chance; they are being attacked by the human race.

Glass on the pavements, no matter where one goes, people could fall and my tyres on my scooter are dreading the day an injury happens, which could be life threatening and my tyres get a puncture.

Yet again we go to the Late Shop.

So what you may ask?

We cannot get in, cannot get out, the doorway is blocked by cars.

The car park is too small they say, the Co-op staff say the drivers will ignore a sign, saying 'leave entrance free'.

Would you say they're passing the buck?

I don't blame the shop, but the drivers: they are inconsiderate and won't walk a few extra yards.

Common sense can't kick in and leave a gap for other people to get in.

Many drivers don't even know it's against the law to park on a dropped kerb.

The reason they are there is, in case they don't know, to give easy access for prams, wheelchairs and scooters off and on to pavements.

A few shops are a nightmare. Woolworth's are the worst, the corners are blocked and the staff don't care, yet Quality Save and Wilkinsons are accessible and staff are great.

It's a pleasure to shop there.

It makes my day until home I must go and the nightmare starts again.

Glass on the pavement, overgrown trees, help me please.
