WESTON lost out in a high-scoring affair at Silverdale.
In-form Saad Wasim got the century he deserved last week as a total of 240 didn't look half bad, last Saturday.
Wrong, the hosts made relatively light work of it.
The reliable duo of opener Mike Chester (64) and Wasim (112) had set Weston up with a stand of 121.
And chasing 241, the game was in the balance with the hosts stuttering at 145-4.
But Steve Jones got to work hitting 61 off 45 while Nasir Khan blitzed an amazing 52 from just 25 balls as they wrapped up a five-wicket win.
Weston need to stop the rot at home to Haslington on Saturday.
