A PARADE led by the Community Princesses will launch Nantwich '06 Family Fun Day on what promises to be a fantastic extravaganza of entertainment at Barony Park this Saturday, July 8.
The parade, involving a number of schools and community groups, will leave Snow Hill carpark at 10am on its way to the Barony for the opening ceremony.
The ceremony marks the curtain raiser for a day of great fun, with a whole host of attractions on offer.
Organiser Keith Cafferty said: "We're ready and we're just hoping that the weather is kind to us.
"We've decided to have individual races with the wheelie bins rather than a relay. We think it will be popular because it will be a good laugh.
"We've got at least 50 per cent more stalls this year and that shows the popularity of the event."
Other big hits will be a hot air balloon, laser clay pigeon shooting and the ever-popular tug-of-war.
