WARRINGTON'S team spirit reaped rewards in the Cheshire County Cricket League Second Division at Mobberley on Saturday.
The Walton Lea men set Mobberley a competitive 228 for 8 but the home side were not up to the challenge.
Warrington showed togetherness in the field unlike their hosts and Mobberley were bowled out for a miserable 75.
A Kirby and S Heydon were the pick of the bowlers as Warrington gained a maximum 25 points.
Warrington's third consecutive victory and their fourth win in five games was built on a start of 111 for 1, thanks to a classy half-century by B Smith.
Warrington's third team found inner belief and snatched victory from the jaws of defeat in their game at home to Birkenhead.
Brian Boys held the Warrington innings together well with 39 of the 158 runs scored, while W Charlton had the best bowling figures of 4 for 28.
Warrington's fourth XI bowled and fielded with great energy and their hard work eventually paid off against Birkenhead Park.
They bowled out their opponents for 152 after setting a target of 204.
Rick Arbor took six excellent wickets, while Tom Bray got the team off to a great start with 46 runs.
