RYLANDS stretched their lead at the top of Cheshire Building Society Cricket Alliance Division Three to 75 points despite not playing on Saturday.
Capenhurst were unable to raise a team for the clash, allowing Rylands to take the maximum 25 points for a forfeited fixture.
Rylands have no first-team game this weekend but the second team entertain Glazebury in a Division B West top of the table clash at Gorsey Lane on Saturday.
Rylands' juniors had a mixed weekend, with the under 11s and under 13s winning and the under 15s losing.
The under 11s had their third victory in a row as they won by 33 runs at home to Weaverham, with Saajan Ramji shining with both bat and ball.
The under 13s had a comfortable victory at Frodsham, winning by 95 runs after posting 127 for 8 and dismissing the hosts for 33.
Amir Aslam and Kilian Chriscoli had an opening partnership of 68 in Rylands' innings before both picked up two wickets each.
The under 15s lost by 10 runs at home to Oakmere, with Tom Ray scoring 50 not out. James Minshull and Tom Horton impressed with the ball.
