In the pre-1990 class, Great Sankey's John Farrell was forced to retire during his debut race after a qualifying accident, while Ian Howard, also of Great Sankey, moved up seven places during the race to finish 20th, before finishing 11th in a re-run of round six, which was cancelled in May.
The next round of the championship will again take place at Oulton Park on July 29.
Warrington's Andrew Lennie won the XR3i class in round seven of the Ford XR Challenge at Oulton Park.
Lennie finished third overall, with Chris Hamer seventh and Andy Cunningham 17th.
