CHILDREN at Winwick Primary School have been learning about the importance of recycling while collecting second hand clothing, bedding and bags.
The school has been working in partnership with Bag 2 School, gathering good quality products to be sent on to wholesalers in Russia, Latvia and Lithuania and then resold.
Rachel Browne, Winwick Parents Teachers and Friends Association member, said: "It's an excellent scheme that generates funds for the school while teaching the children the importance of recycling.
"We have raised £200 in the past and we are looking to increase our total with this summer clear out."
