WARRINGTON Athletics Club members have had a week of mixed fortunes in various events across the north west of England.
The highlight of the week was the four titles won at the Cheshire Relay Championships, which took place at Macclesfield on Saturday.
Warrington's titles came in the under 13s boys' 4x100m and 3x800m, the under 17s girls' 3x800m and the veteran women's 4x100m.
A number of second and third-place finishes were also secured by Warrington.

Warrington's team was depleted in numbers in the third match of the North of England League at Bebington Oval on Sunday and were only able to finish in sixth place.
The club's only winner was Luke Miller-Briggs in the 100m.
He also took second place in the 200m, while further second places were secured by Tony Archdeacon in the 400m hurdles, Jamie Campbell in the shot put, Ben Stringer in the B discus and Matt Kindon in the high jump.
Steve Burthem came third in the 3,000m steeplechase and Jamie Campbell was third in the discus.
The women's team's top performers, with third-place finishes, were Hayley Darbyshire in the 100m and 200m, Hannah Tart in the 400m and discus, Amy Talbot in the 800m and Claire Irons in the hammer.
Warrington Athletics Club's leading runner in Thursday's Woolston 10km race, organised by Warrington Road Runners, was new recruit Liam Thompson.
He crossed the line in ninth place in 35mins 37secs, with Neil Crompton close behind in 10th place in 35mins 59secs.
Sarah Hardy, who came 88th, was the first of the club's women to finish in 45mins 20secs.
The other club runners were Dave Jackson, who was 135th in 48mins 9secs, Claire Irons, 203rd in 52mins 3secs, Chris Jackson, 226th in 54mins 27secs, and S Bowden-Bevan, 262nd in 1hr 1min 30secs.
Danny Cliffe led home the club's 13 runners in the Lymm 5km road race.
He led for the early part of the race and eventually finished in 10th position.
Danny was also the second junior runner to finish and was followed home by Neil Crompton, 13th, Adrian Timmins, 15th, Liam Thompson, 16th, Neil Ashcroft, 21st, Steve Burthem, 31st, Tony McCarthy, 39th, Heather Timmins, 45th, Suzanne Andrews, 84th, Caroline Weaver, 95th, Fiona McGrath, 105th, Adam Whittaker, 106th and Neville Jones, 147th.
Burthem was sixth and McCarthy ninth in the over 45s category, while Jones was 10th in the over 60s section.
In the women's race, Heather Timmins was third overall and first junior, while Andrews was ninth, Weaver was 15th and the second over 35 athlete, with McGrath 18th.
