A YEAR of achievement in art, music and dance has been celebrated at Ravenbank Primary School.
The school has been awarded Artsmark Gold and one of the highlights of the year has been the display of a mermaid sculpture the youngsters created with artist Philip Cox.
The mermaid will be displayed during the Lymm Festival and then at Warrington Museum until Christmas.
Joanne Butuex, arts manager, said: "We are all very proud of our arts provision at Ravenbank.
"We are also extremely excited about our arts achievements during the past year.
"I would like to thank all the staff, parents and children for their enthusiasm and hard work in the arts subjects during the past few years."
