THE public inquiry to decide on plans for more than 100 riverside apartments in Howley will be heard in September.
Council officials have confirmed that the controversial nine-storey-high development will be debated at a two-day hearing starting at 10am in the sponsor's lounge of The Halliwell Jones Stadium on September 20. Residents say the plans for Howley Quay will set a dangerous precedent for high rise buildings.
