PIERPOINT and Bryant bowler Peter Maddock became Lancashire's junior bowls champion on Sunday.
He won the Lancashire Junior Merit in Wigan after defeating Warrington's rising star Matthew Gatley, aged seven, in a tense semi final and overcoming Leigh's Chris Cook in the final.
Louise Sullivan retained the Cheshire Girls' Merit title with a win against Jade Chapman in the final, while Chloe Robinson and Lauren Bush were beaten semi finalists.
Despite defeat in one final, Chapman edged out Danielle Griffith 21-16 in the final of the Hale Street Windows Girls' Merit, with Robinson and Evie Gray the losing semi finalists.
Daniel Parker has been crowed champion of the Estellevillas.com Warrington Junior Bowls League.
He edged Daniel Roberts into second place, while the unbeaten Michael Roberts won the cadets section ahead of second-placed James Maher.
Jack Hallet won the Young Flyers league with Mike Yule second, while Thomas Campbell was the winner of the intermediate section ahead of runners up Michael Bishop and Liam Sullivan.
Stephen Yule and Ben Morley will take on Kyle Chapman and Liam Sullivan in the final of the Rene Parfit Junior Pairs Competition.
Yule and Morley edged out Parker and Adam Lea 21-19 in a tight semi final.
Griffith and Robinson will take on Chris Wightman and Thomas Maher in one of the Supplementary Finals, with Campbell and Michael Roberts facing Daniel Roberts and James Maher in the other game.
