WIDNES St Maries amateur rugby league team have commenced training in preparation for the Carlsberg Tetley Champions Challenge at Leigh Miners and the opening league fixture against Leeds outfit Milford Marlins on September 9.
Training will continue throughout the summer on Tuesdays and Thursdays at Brentfields, Heath Road, Widnes, at 6.15pm.
