HALTON'S most complicated junction, with a staggering 19 sets of traffic lights, will soon be much easier for motorists, says Halton Council.
Construction is under way to create a gyratory between Focus DIY and B&Q, improving traffic flow into Widnes town centre.
"It should make it much easier for drivers to get into the town centre," said Cllr Rob Polhill, board member for transportation.
Traffic from Warrington and St Helens heading for Widnes will soon follow the new traffic layout, cutting down the number of traffic lights.
