EIGHT areas of responsibility have been created at Warrington Borough Council following the elections in May.
The councillors accountable for each area of responsibility make up the new executive board.
Leader of the council, Clr Ian Marks, will have responsibility for the corporate plan. He will be chairman of the executive board and will be responsible for promoting Warrington externally.
He said: "The priorities of the council will be to give people high quality, value-for-money services, to put people first and to generate a pride in Warrington, with cleaner and greener communities."
Deputy leader, Councillor Keith Bland, will be responsible for performance management, communications, and emergency planning and member development.
The leader and deputy leader will be jointly responsible for promoting the council across the borough, liaising with partners, meeting the needs of citizens and scrutiny.
