WATER-SAVING companies could reap big rewards, say campaigners.
You not only save money but could be hailed an environmental champion!
The search is on to find private, public and voluntary organisations who have devised the best ways to save water.
"Our use of water has a direct impact on the rivers and wetlands,"said Dr David King, the Environment Agency's director of waste management.
"Water efficient features in buildings, such as dual flush toilets, smart technology in manufacturing and staff training in water efficiency can improve water management and reduce costs."
Nominations are now open for the 2007 Environment Agency Water Efficiency Awards. Closing date is August 31, 2006.
