BEES have taken up home in a bird box normally reserved for Blue Tits in Wilderspool.
Gainsborough Road resident Colin Webb found them in his garden.
The 69-year-old, a retired fork lift engineer, said: "It's very interesting to watch them.
"I like the birds more but when I phoned up the council they said the bees would be gone by winter so there won't be a problem, I'll just need to clear it out because no doubt there will be honeycombs."
