A DATE has been fixed for the public inquiry into the huge Winwick Street development.
Submissions will be heard over eight days at The Halliwell Jones Stadium from September 26.
The development has already been agreed by Warrington Borough Council but the Government has decided to hold the inquiry because of its sheer scale.
More than 600 properties and a cinema, health centre and hotel, are planned for waste ground opposite Central Train Station - creating up to 1,000 jobs.
