AN ACTION-PACKED programme of art has won pupils a top accolade.
Moore Primary School has achieved a gold Artsmark award - at its first attempt!
"I am delighted that the Arts Council has recognised the wide range of high quality arts activity in our school," said head teacher Jan MacDonald.
"Our philosophy is to provide as broad a curriculum as possible to stimulate children's learning and ensure they reach their full potential.
"All this cannot happen without the dedication and enthusiasm of all the staff and a big thank you goes to them all for their hard work in achieving this award."
Visiting artists and drama groups combine with an array of classroom drama, music, literature and sculpture to inspire youngsters.
Teachers Chloe Ellison and Clare McWatt co-ordinate the art curriculum.
