IT is the moment that members of a Warrington band have been waiting for, their debut on the big screen alongside a Hollywood superstar.
As reported by the Warrington Guardian earlier this year, three musicians from The Bogtrotters were selected to star in a scene of the latest Demi Moore film, Half Light, which hit cinemas on Friday.
The group travelled down to north Wales where the film was being shot late last year.
They had already played in the town where the film was being made and their brand of traditional Irish and Scottish music blended with other styles was just what the producers were after. Once on set, they filmed a beach party scene.
Band member Jim Hand said: "It has all been quite exciting now that the film has come out."
The band members praised the star, Ms Moore, saying she was very friendly and happy to chat.
