HEADS turned and traffic came to a standstill on Winwick Road this week when the queen of all footballers wives paid a visit to Warrington Collegiate.
It was only when paparazzi shots showed the real Mrs Beckham, aka Posh Spice, in Germany watching her husband captain the England squad that it became apparent the icon was in fact professional Posh lookalike Gill Penny.
Gill, who featured in Bend It Like Beckham, was in town to promote the college rebuild, set to finish in September.
