WORK to improve a farm in Lymm can go ahead after legal barriers were dropped.
The owners of Spring Lane farm in the village received planning permission to build agricultural quarters late last year.
But because the farm is in the green belt, the scheme had to be referred to the Government.
Clr Sheila Woodyatt said she was delighted that the scheme did not have to be debated during a public inquiry.
She added: "This is very reassuring.
"And it will ensure the long term viability of the farm."
