NEW signing Adrian Morley has backed Wolves to halt their current run of defeats.
Morley, who has agreed to join Wolves on a four-year deal from next season and played alongside Martin Gleeson in Great Britain's 46-14 win against New Zealand on Tuesday, is now a fully-fledged supporter of the club but they have not won since he signed two weeks ago.
And Wolves are in a similar situation to his current club, Sydney Roosters, who have lost their last five games in the NRL.
He said: "There are parallels. We've had a number of injuries and absences with representative duties at Sydney, but once you start losing a few you tend to get into a losing habit and it's very hard to get out of.
"We are confident we can bounce back though and I'm sure Warrington will too.
"It's not looking great at the moment but all teams go through lulls and I'm sure that's what it is.
"They have a fantastic squad, which was one of the reasons why I chose Warrington, but if you are missing two or three key players you do tend to struggle.
"I hope the boys finish the season with a bang. I'm sure they'll make the play-offs but it's not just about that.
"It's about making a dent in the play-offs and I'm sure they will do that as well."
Right winger Henry Fa'afili scored a try for New Zealand during Tuesday's XXXX Test, which saw Paul Rauhihi signal the continuation of his steady recovery from a back problemby acting as a water carrier for the Kiwis.
Morley, who played for Sydney on Sunday before flying to England for another match two days later, will meet up socially with Paul Cullen and Mike Forshaw before he returns to Australia on Saturday.
The departure of Danny Lima to Salford on loan for the rest of the season should mean that if - as is looking increasingly likely - Sydney miss out on the NRL play-offs, there is space on the salary cap to bring in Morley for this season's Super League play-offs.
But, although admitting Wolves will be looking to sign someone in time for the play-offs, Cullen says it may not necessarily be Morley.
He said: "Although it was more about doing the right thing for Danny Lima, his departure does free up budget for the back end of the season.
"It is something we have thought about and may well consider when it comes around.
"But it's not just about Adrian Morley. We have freed up some room under the salary cap and if we can use that efficiently at the end of the season we will explore all the possibilities."
* Half back Jamie Durbin, who left Wolves last season and has been playing for Widnes this year, has been handed a two-year ban for doping.
