A CONFERENCE designed to encourage Warrington business and voluntary sectors to work together was hailed a massive success this week.
The event, held at the Gateway on Tuesday, was a joint venture between the Warrington Council for Voluntary Service (CVS) and Warrington Borough Council's regeneration unit.
Titled 'The Social and Corporate Responsibility Conference' the event worked on the equation that the business sector plus the voluntary sector equals profit for all.
It was attended by representatives from both sectors who were keen to look at ways in which the two can become interlinked.
Gwen Lightfoot from Warrington CVS said: "This is the start of something big in Warrington."
