PUPILS and staff at Park Road Primary School are keeping their fingers crossed that England stay the distance in the World Cup.
For the Great Sankey
school has come up with a novel way of raising much-needed funds to pay for the ongoing refurbishment of its play area.
Every weekday that England play, pupils are
invited to pay £1 to come in to school wearing the team's colours.
And the incentive seems to have done the trick so far with the school raising around £250.
