LETS hope it's a sunny day when Stretton Walking Day takes place on July 15.
The celebration will begin with a service at St Matthews Church, Stretton Road at 11am and the handover of the annual rose queen crown.
The walking day procession will be led by Warrington Phoenix Drummer Band at 12pm.
A summer fete will be held at St Mathews CE Primary School from 1-4pm and entertainment will be provided by the Anderton School of Dance and Appleton Thorn Dance School as well as donkey rides, an inflatable gladiator combat game, bar and fairground rides.
