BE the best: that's what teens from Appleton were taught when they got kitted out for a taste of the Army.
Youngster from Bridgewater High Schoool got toughened up at Swynnerton training camp last week.
Throughout the course, students took part in a variety of activities, including field activities such as camouflage, movement, survival techniques and personal security.
They also completed the Army basic personal fitness assessment, participated in adventure training tasks like climbing, abseiling and orienteering and other sports activities
An Army spokesman said: "The one week residential course that takes place at various training camps across the North West provides teenagers with an insight into Army life and gives the youngsters a taste of what to expect during basic training if they join the Army."
All the pupils received a certificate of achievement for passing the course.
