So much negative feedback comes from talking about residential care homes that I just had to write to you and inform you of what must be one of the finest to be found anywhere.
St Mary's, Penny Lane, Burtonwood, was the home for my brother-in-law for eight months until he died of cancer. Everybody, from the receptionist to every member of the carers, nurses, administration and cleaners teams, cannot be praised enough.
Their caring was not just done for the benefit of visitors. We turned up at all times, and their attention to the residents never varied. The place is spotless and in each room they have their own shower and toilet.
The staff's attention to the residents is superb. Elderly people and their families need not fear about their loved ones' care as long as there are places and people that work in them such as St Mary's.
God bless them all.
