What T. Gandy says (Guardian, June 15) was shown up in the home defeat against Wakefield. It was not the defeat, no one had the right to win.
There were two poor teams who put on a dismal display of super league rugby. The Warrington board said they would bring the best players to Warrington. Out of the 36 players who were eligible to play, there was not one current regular international player on show.
We, the fans, have played our part. My wife, myself, our daughter, son and two grand children are all season ticket holders, but for how long?
