WARRINGTON clinched a 12-run home win against Burnage in the Cheshire County Cricket League Second Division on Saturday.
Warrington were quickly reduced to 63 for 6 but resistance from S Batey and B Morris helped them to a total of 145. Figures of 4 for 61 from R Batey and 5 for 49 from S Heydon then allowed Warrington to bowl out the visitors for 133.
Warrington's third team lost by five wickets at home to Neston's fourths after only posting a total of 194 for 9. That included 39 from Tim Rothwell and a rapid 41 from Derek Bate but it was not enough as Neston comfortably reached the target.
Warrington's fourths beat Neston's thirds by 63 runs.
