WARRINGTON Athletics Club were the overall winners of the fourth match of the Young Athletes League in Trafford on Sunday.
Warrington won the event at Longford Stadium by 98 points from Manx Athletics Club, with Vicky Hamilton taking the female track athlete of the match award for her win in the under 13s 800m in addition to first place in the 150m B race.
Abigail Nicholson was the female field athlete of the match after clinching victory in the under 13s high jump.
Jessica Deakin won the 75m, 150m and long jump in the under 13s category, with Rhian Heap winning the 75m B and Heather Beaton triumphing in the 800m B.
Samantha Wilkinson won the discus, javelin and shot put B at under 15s level, with Sarah Lewis winning the 75m hurdles and the long jump.
Rebecca Moran won the high jump and the long jump B, with other wins going to Louise Sullivan in the 800m and Sarah Griffiths in the 800m B. Lucy Gemmell took first place in the 1500m, javelin and shot put B in the under 17s category, while Hannah Tart won the 800m, 300m hurdles and hammer B. Amy Talbot won the 300m hurdles, 1500m B and long jump B, while Emma Jane Jones won the the 200m and javelin B.
Vicky Nicholson triumphed in the 100m B and triple jump, while Hayley Darbyshire completed the 100m and 200m sprint double.
Stephen Darbyshire won the 100m B and 200m B in the boys' under 13s age group, with other victories coming from Luke Johnston in the 800m, James Sutton in the 200m and Alex Wort in the high jump. Adam Nicholls clinched wins in the 100m, long jump and discus at under 15s level, while Martyn Corcoran won the 400m and long jump B, Danny Jackson took first place in the 400m B and Charles Gray won the discus. Matt Jackson won both the 800m and 400m B in the under 17s age category, while Joseph Lewis won the hammer and the javelin.
Danny Cliffe triumphed in the 800m B, Stephen Broadhurst won the 1500m, Lawrence Walker took glory in the 1500m steeplechase, Jonathan Kindon won the high jump and Chris Hilton won the high jump B.
Warrington also secured 4x100m relay victories in the girls' under 13s and under 17s girls, as well as the boys' under 13s and under 15s.
The girls' under 17s won the 4x300m, while the boys' under 15s and under 17s won the 4x400m.
