COLIN Dean cracked 87 as Winsford 1sts continued their climb towards the top of the table.
Dean hit eight fours and four sixes as his side cantered to a massive 116-run win against Bowdon Vale at Knights Grange.
And he was not the only batsman in the runs.
Captain Barry Crellin (44) helped himself to seven fours and two sixes before permitting Winsford the luxury of declaring early after 40 overs.
Martin Barrett (30) played his part too.
In reply, Bowdon Vale got off to a shaky start when Mark Dean (2-24) struck immediately.
Barrett carried on where he'd left off at the crease, taking three for 11 in a short seven over spell.
Matt Clarke (2-27) and Crellin (2-5) polished off a fine performance as Vale fell well short on 94 all out.
Winsford now lie third in Meller Braggins Division Two and travel to Pott Shrigley on Saturday.
