A WINSFORD librarian is encouraging people to visit the library by running a competition to win a best selling book.

Copies of High Fidelity by Nick Hornby are up for grabs and librarian Ian Anstice hopes the competition will raise awareness of the diverse range of services on offer at the library.

He said: "We have hundreds of the latest and greatest CDs which people can borrow for a whole week for just £1.25.

"Often people do not realise that you can use the library for console games or films which can be borrowed for a full week.

"Hopefully when people come in and try to win the books they will see everything else we can offer them."

To win a copy of High Fidelity, answer the following question: How long can you borrow a CD for at Winsford Library?

Send your answers to Ian Anstice, Winsford Library, High Street, Winsford, Cheshire, CW7 2AS or hand them in at the library help desk.

The closing date for entries is July 13.
