FOUR thefts from cars took place in the Northwich area overnight between Sunday and Monday, which police believe could be linked.
In the first, a compact disc player, sunglasses and a headset for a hands-free mobile phone, worth a total of £285 were stolen from a Mitsubishi Charisma parked in Mond Street.
The incident took place overnight between Sunday and Monday when thieves smashed a rear passenger door window.
During the same time period, a compact disc player was stolen from a Ford Focus parked on the driveway of a house in Carlton Road when thieves smashed the rear nearside window.
Then a CD multi-changer unit was stolen from a car parked in Malpas Road when thieves smashed the front nearside window and finally a music system, worth £130 was stolen from a Vauxhall Corsa, parked in the driveway of a house in Malpas Road, when the driver's door was bent back.
