OULTON Park opener Chris Bassano simply can not stop scoring runs at the moment.
He was at it again on Saturday to help his team to a comfortable eight-wicket win at Birkenhead Park, leaving Park sitting second in the league standings behind high-flying Hyde.
Captain Nathan Dumelow set the standard after winning his eighth toss out of nine this term, taking 4-49 as the visitors skittled their hosts for just 159.
He was ably supported by Robin Taylor (3-33) and Ben Spendlove (2-11).
In reply, Park lost Cheshire batsman Danny Leech for just 10, before Bassano (66no) took control.
He hit 10 fours and one six along the way.
Dumelow (43no) and Spendlove (40) repeated their bowling feats with the bat as Oulton Park reached their target in the 27th over.
The champions head to basement side Bramhall at the weekend, when they will be favourites to extend their unbeaten start to the season.

l WARRINGTON edged out Oulton Park 2nds to snatch a final ball victory on Saturday.
Park batted first, posting 243-8, as Steve Yates (66), Jonny Kettle (45) and Mark Johnson (40) top-scored.
In reply, Warrington reached their target in the last over to claim a four-wicket win.
Johnson (3-11) was the pick of the Park bowlers, but even his excellent day with bat and ball was not enough to prevent a loss for his side.
