FOUR candidates are battling to win the Castlefields seat left vacant following the resignation of ailing former Mayor and ex-Cllr Pat Tyrrell, 75, who had served the Runcorn New Town ward for more than 30 years.
Residents will be going to the polls on Thursday, July 6.
Looking for your votes in the election are Peter Blackmore (LIB DEM), of Blantyre Street, Runcorn, Marjorie Bradshaw (CON), of Clifton Road, Harry Howard (LAB), of Priory Close, Halton Village and Jimmy Tang (IND), of Bramshill Close, Gorse Covert, Warrington.
