A TEENAGE girl has been awarded the highest honour in the Army Cadet Force.
Cadet Sergeant Major Natalie Sneddon, from the Penketh Detachment of the Army Cadet Force, was presented with the Lord Lieutenant's Certificate of Merit at Fox Barracks in Chester.
And Lord-Lieutenant Colonel William Bromley-Davenport had some favourable words to describe 17-year-old Natalie when presenting the award.
"Natalie is a very impressive young lady who is strongly deserving of this prestigious award," he said.
Natalie has now reached the highest rank possible in the Army Cadet Force.
