A MONSTER truck carrying the latest IT equipment was the centrepiece of a cutting edge event at Runcorn's Heath Business and Technical Park.
Halton IT Showcase, organised by Halton Council, gave visitors a chance to see state-of-the-art equipment.
"The truck is amazing," said Mike Dean, commercial manager of SOG Ltd, owners and operators of the business park.
"This was an exciting event for technophobes as there was a feast of up-to-the-minute equipment and gadgets on display.
"The aim was to show a businesses how to use the world's most recent technology."
IBM's custom-built 40-foot trailer carries the company's latest products on tour around Europe.
Invitations were sent to 1,000 companies who use the council's virtual business forum website, 60 of the borough's businesses and members of Halton Chamber of Commerce and Halton Economic Forum.
