WHARTON Junior School is celebrating after its pupils' superb artistic skills secured a prestigious award.
The school has received the Artsmark Gold award for its work developing children's art skills in a range of different areas and is the result of months of hard work.
The award is the highest award possible in the Artsmark scheme and teachers and pupils are delighted with their achievement.
