A STATE-OF-THE-ART science centre in Daresbury has been officially unveiled.
The Daresbury Innovation Centre, which offers office, workshop and lab space, was opened by Sir David King, chief scientific advisor to the Government.
Situated at the heart of Daresbury Science and Innovation Campus, this superb facility provides a compelling location for small to medium sized enterprises.
Bryan Gray, Northwest Development Agency chairman, said: "Daresbury Innovation Centre forms part of a £50.3 million investment in Daresbury Science and Innovation Campus, which is at the heart of the NWDA's drive to build and sustain a knowledge economy for England's north west.
"The new centre will play a key role in attracting science and technology based businesses."
