TOFT travelled to Widnes on Saturday hoping to register their third consecutive victory and continue their march up the Premier League table.
Skipper Emslie won the toss and elected to bat on another picture perfect day.
The visitors got off to a steady start before Weston and Coutts were dismissed in quick succession. Ashley joined skipper Emslie and the pair battled to a 50 partnership until Emslie was caught behind for 27.
Then Ashley smashed his way to an electrifying 72.
Bongard joined the party and the team secured maximum batting points, with the young starlet finishing up on 65 not out. Widnes began their reply in shaky fashion as Quershi won an early lbw decision.
Ashley then produced his best Freddy Flintoff impression by having the other home opener caught behind. Widnes recovered well and reached 120 for 2 at the halfway stage and looked well set for the victory.
However, Emslie brought himself on and got a vital wicket, which started a mini collapse.
Spin king Lincoln then stepped up and his reward for a fine spell were figures of 3 for 52 in 16 overs.
Ashley also grabbed three wickets and the home side were nine wickets down with one over to survive.
Lincoln produced a top edge from the tail end batsman.
But the dolly catch was dropped and Toft had to settle for a hard-earned draw.
Toft welcome Chester Boughton Hall to Booths Park this Saturday.
