IF you've found yourself desperate to work out what your toddler wants but can't understand one scream from another then get down to Borders.

The store will be holding a free baby signing and singing taster session to introduce parents and their youngsters to using sign language to communicate and sing a few songs too.

Therese Markham is a teacher for TinyTalk, which runs baby signing classes across the country, and will be taking the class for free.

The signs are mostly based on the official British Sign Language and can help children communicate simple actions and commands to their parents before they can talk.

The session will take place at the store on the Riverside Retail Park on Wednesday at 10.30am.
