THE town's leading youth theatre is in rehearsals for a production of Stage to Screen at the futuristic Brindley Theatre in Runcorn.
CODYS will be performing hits from musicals and films at the theatre from July 27 to 29.
Songs come from Phantom of the Opera, Les Miserables, Miss Saigon - and more.
A spokesman said: "It will be a magical evening of music, song and dance."
This will be the first time that CODYS appears at the Brindley Theatre, having until recently only appeared in Warrington.
With the lack of a suitable venue within Warrington, CODYS decided to move to the Brindley and couldn't think of a better production to introduce themselves and their members to the residents of Halton.
This year is CODYS' 10th anniversary and to mark this occasion it has invited many past members to participate, giving rise to a 100-strong cast.
Nick Cupit, CODYS chairman, commented: "We feel extremely privileged to have been able to secure the Brindley Theatre for our forthcoming production and hope that the people of Runcorn, Widnes and Halton as well as our established Warrington audiences will join us for what we believe will be a most memorable show."
