BUS station project manager Andrew Young turned the tables when he was asked to go to his son's nursery to talk about his job.
But instead of going to them, he invited them to visit him at the new £7m town centre site. He gave them a tour of the site and explained how the machines work, giving the children of Croft Pre-School access to places where only workmen have been before. Mr Young, who lives in Croft, was asked to help by three-year-old son Harry, and he took the class down on Monday morning. He works for builders Kier North West. The new bus station is being built behind the temporary one on Golborne Street, and will be the first completed phase of the Golden Square redevelopment. It will be opened in stages from July onwards.
