TWO teenage girls were sexually assaulted by a man after he harassed them at a bus shelter in Lowton.
The man, who came out of a pub, made lewd comments at the 13 and 14-year-old girls, on St Helens Road.
He suggested that they perform sexual acts in exchange for money.
He then left the pair, who were sat in the bus shelter around 10pm on Friday, June 9, and walked off towards a nearby Mini Mart.
He returned a short time later and put his arms across both girls' shoulders, before guiding them towards a nearby entry and sexually assaulting them.
The girls were not injured but were left extremely shaken by the incident.
The offender, who been drinking in the Shepherd's Inn pub, is described as white, aged between 30 and 35-years-old, six feet tall and of a large build with short, brown hair.
He was wearing a green top, ripped jeans and black shoes.
