A WINSFORD man has dropped his appeal against a sentence given to him after he exposed his genitals to three young girls.

Timothy Peter Bray, 30, of Malvern Way, was due to appeal against his 24 month supervision order in Chester Crown Court last Wednesday but decided to withdraw it hours before the court case began.

Bray was sentenced in May for the offences, which took place on May 10, 11, and 12 last year.

Det Sgt Dave Snasdell, from Winsford Neighbourhood Policing Unit, said: "The young girls have already been through giving evidence at court once before and they attended court again expecting to go through it all again.

"They didn't have to in the end but it must still have been upsetting for them going back there again."

The three girls, aged 14 and 15, were walking to Woodford Lodge High School when they saw Bray standing naked inside his house with his hands on his hips on three separate occasions.

Bray claimed he did not realise the girls could see him but during the trial in March, a jury decided he had intentionally exposed himself.
