A NORTHWICH beauty consultant has carried out a survey of brides to discover their biggest fears about their wedding day.
Michelle Northcott, owner of Beyond Compare, in Middlewich Road, carried out the survey to find out what her clients wanted from her business.
She said: "A bride's biggest fear is waking up with a glowing red spot on the end of her nose or chin.
"Some have even told me they would call the whole day off if it happened to them.
"Most of the brides who come to see me concerned about a break out don't realise that you need at least 12 weeks to prepare your skin in time for the big day."
The second biggest fear for brides was badly applied make up and having to look at the photographs for the rest of their lives.
Michelle said: "Most women think they know how to apply their own make up.
"On your wedding day it's very important that you don't look like a pantomime dame."
And Michelle added: "Ideally she should take some time out to relax and have a professional guard against streaky foundation and over exuberant eyeliner."
