I AM writing to say how well Transco (the National Grid) worked in sorting out the problem of water leaking into the gas pipes in the Wharton area of Winsford from June 4 to 9.
We were informed by letter about progress on a daily basis and we were visited by a gas engineer as and when required.
I believe some engineers travelled from far away to come and sort out the problem in Winsford.
Well done to all the Transco engineers for working so hard to rectify the situation! And thank you to Tim Warrell for the informative letters.
