AFTER being clear leaders of the Cheshire Cricket Alliance at the start of the season, Kingsley are struggling to maintain their push for promotion after another loss at home on Saturday.
Aston took the initiative from the start after being invited to bat on what proved to be a featherbed of a track.
Kingsley's seamers did well to restrict the visitors to 186-6, with Jonny Ollier and Andrew Storey claiming two wickets each.
Versatile batsman Ed Leneghan got Kingsley's innings moving with a brisk 31 but was one of veteran seamer Beasley's eight wickets in a stop-start innings.
Hopes of victory were again raised by a jaunty 42 from Ollier before a broken bat contributed to his downfall and that of the team as they were eventually dismissed for 164.
